United States ambassador Raul H. Yzaguirre affirmed Tuesday that corruption is a reality that affects the entire world, and Dominican Republic isn’t the exception.
The diplomat however said he’s glad about president Leonel Fernandez’s initiative directed to fight that malady which corrupts all of society and that the U.S. Embassy will provide follow up to the Dominican chief executive’s decision .
Yzaguirre spoke to the press after meeting with the presidents of the Chamber of Deputies, Abel Martinez, and of the Senate, Reinaldo Pared behind closed doors, but didn’t specify the reason.
